Liquid Harness by Liquid AI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Liquid AI, Inc. ("Liquid AI", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Liquid Harness (the "Service"), including the CLI, web console, and APIs. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, organization, and authentication identifiers (for example, a Google account ID for SSO).

Customer Content. Prompts, conversations, datasets, files, generated outputs, and other inputs you submit to the Service.

Usage and request metadata. Timestamps, model identifiers, token counts, response times, error codes, CLI version, IP address, and similar telemetry needed to operate, secure, and bill the Service.

Device and log data. Browser and OS information, cookies, and standard server logs.

Payment information. Handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction).

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • authenticate users, enforce rate limits, and prevent abuse;
  • respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account;
  • process payments and prevent fraud;
  • analyse usage to debug, evaluate, and improve the Service;
  • train, fine-tune, and evaluate Liquid AI models, as described below;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Service improvement and model training

We retain Customer Content and operational telemetry to operate, debug, evaluate, and improve the Service. This includes using prompts, generated outputs, evaluation scores, and usage patterns to fine-tune, evaluate, and develop Liquid AI's models, including Liquid Foundation Models.

Where Customer Content is used for model training, we apply de-identification and minimisation steps designed to remove direct identifiers and reduce the risk that personal data is memorised by trained models. Aggregated and de-identified data may be retained for longer periods and used for research, benchmarking, and product development.

Your choices. You can opt out of having your Customer Content used to train or fine-tune our models in your account settings, or by emailing privacy@lqh.ai. Opting out does not affect data we use to operate, secure, or bill the Service. Customers on enterprise plans may have model-training use disabled by default under their order.

4. How we share information

We share information with:

  • Subprocessors that host and support the Service, including cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare), database and queue providers, observability tools, customer support tools, and payment processors;
  • Model and inference providers such as OpenRouter and Replicate, when you submit a request that we route to a third-party model. These providers receive the prompt and any uploaded media required to fulfil your request, governed by their own terms;
  • Affiliates within the Liquid AI corporate group;
  • Acquirers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets;
  • Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for the legitimate purposes described in this Policy. Typical retention periods:

  • Account data: for the life of your account, then deleted or anonymised within 90 days of account closure, subject to legal holds;
  • Customer Content (prompts, outputs, datasets): retained while the relevant project exists and for up to 24 months thereafter to support debugging, abuse detection, and model improvement, unless you delete it earlier or have opted out of training use;
  • Request logs and metadata: up to 24 months;
  • De-identified and aggregated data: may be retained indefinitely for analytics, research, and model development;
  • Billing and tax records: as required by applicable law (typically 7 years).

You can request earlier deletion of your Customer Content by deleting it in the console or by contacting us. Once Customer Content has been incorporated into a trained model checkpoint, it cannot be selectively removed from that checkpoint, although we will stop further training use on request.

6. Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Notify us at security@lqh.ai if you suspect a vulnerability or compromise.

7. International transfers

Liquid AI is based in the United States and processes information there and in other countries where our subprocessors operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect personal data transferred across borders.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these rights in your account settings or by emailing privacy@lqh.ai. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

California residents: we disclose the categories of personal information described in Section 1 for the business purposes described in Sections 2–4. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (for example, session cookies for authentication) and basic analytics cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies will break sign-in.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or in-product notice) before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
